Worship Arts Ministry (WAM)
The Worship Arts Ministry works under the auspices of the Diakonos Vision by promoting an atmosphere that inspires a lifestyle of worship and praise, encouraging a life of intimacy with the Father. The Worship Arts Ministry is about individuals sharing their gifts to glorify God’s holy name. The Ministry includes teams that strive to assist the congregation, and community as a whole to develop a life-style of worship.
Diakonos WAM Praise Team
The WAM Praise Team serves to strengthen and encourage the Body of Christ through music and song. During each service, gifts of music and song are used to usher the congregation into the presence of God and to create an environment where the congregation is invited to offer themselves to God; and, to prepare their hearts to receive the Word of God.
WAM Band
The band members use their individual and collective talents and spiritual gifts to provide instrumental music that, whether accompanying the other arts ministry teams or acting alone serves to lift up Jesus Christ through praise and worship.
WAM Dance Team
The WAM Dance Team embraces the privilege of leading the people of God into His transforming presence through spontaneous and choreographed praise and worship. The Dance Team’s mission is to bring glory to God and lead God’s people into His presence through dance.
WAM Dramatic Arts Team
As an effective, innovative enhancement of the worship experience, the Dramatic Arts Team utilizes their talents and spiritual gifts to perform plays, skits, readings and other dramatic performances that communicate the Gospel; glorify God; and enlighten worshipers in the ways of God’s truth, grace and love.
